A book of daily readings to inspire, guide and support those who use the twelve step recovery programme of the 1960 formed and now world-wide organisation; Overeaters Anonymous. OA has adapted the programme that was found to work for alcoholics in 1939 and has been used by a multitudes with very different addictions be that to a behaviour or substance or as with food issues a combination of behaviours and substances.

A thickish pocket sized book with a daily reading for every day of the year which helps demonstrate the 12 step programme as experienced by those with just about any type of "problem with food", Including anorexia, bulimia, over-excercising. The OA programme works for all people who somehow try to change how they feel by using or avoiding food and then trying to manage it within their body, such as by excercising or purging with laxatives.

There are now thousands of people in long term recovery as long as they apply the programme expounded in small daily chunks in this book, each and every day.

Each reading uses a short quotation to focus the readers attention.

September 28: - "You cannot create experience. You must undergo it." - Albert Camus.

There is now an electronic edition.
